If you are a resident agent of NY, when you are selling in NY you have to do face to face appointments to get the client's signature. They don't allow telesales inside the state of NY if you are a NY resident agent.

If you are a resident agent outside of NY, you can do telesales to clients inside the state of NY.

If you are a NY resident agent you can do telesales to states outside of NY if you have a non-resident license.
