In-depth on how commissions work

Make sure to type in your commission rate at the top in the blue field. Note: It's hard to keep this sheet updated with the latest commission revisions so here is how you find the latest commission rates is the manual way.

Here is how find out how much you're going to get paid on a policy:

1) Go to the arc and login and go to the carrier page. Then download the commission rate guide (it will always be the latest revision).

2) Look up the commission percentage for the correct product you wrote.

3) Multiply the percentage you see by YOUR commission percentage, so if you're at a 75 contract, and the commissionable percentage you pick off the chart is 88.75%, then you multiply .75 x .8875.

4) Then you take that number and multiply the target premium.

5) Then you multiply that by 75% advance. 50% advance on guaranteed issue. Note: you do NOT get advance pay on personal policies or policies written on direct family.

Turning in Paper Apps

When you write a paper application on a client, after you proofread it, then scan it and email it to hr@abnfinancial.com. Make sure your writing is legible and that you have all the proper signatures on it.

Reporting Your Weekly Numbers

Reporting period runs from Friday to Thursday every week. We need you to report your activity numbers using our online activity report found at this link: http://bit.ly/abnactivityreport.

Reporting Your Weekly Client Applications

Part of the weekly activity report is reporting each individual application you wrote, whether it's on an e-app or paper app. The link to update the google sheet is embedded in the online activity report above.

Now you can any time type in your production as you go. Do not delete any info in there since other agents will have typed in their info. Also, don't worry about your data not being contiguous on the sheet. Just find a the next blank and fill it with the required info. The tabs are separated by week ending date which is the thursday of every week. so please type in your production in the proper reporting week. Only time you can break this rule is if you forgot to put something on the sheet that did not get on by the monday morning leader board. I want to recognize every bit of production you do so please put it on the next production report - but only count it once okay?

Again, I recommend that you do this daily or as you complete an app or the end of the day so you don't have to spend a ton of time all at once. Here is the link so you can update it independent of the online activity report: https://bit.ly/abnproductionreport
